The East Hawaii Cultural Center strives to bring theatre, dance, and a rotating series of art exhibits to the varied communities within the Hilo area. The center is located near Lincoln Park, just northwest of the city center. Each year the cultural center brings together the many artisans from around the island together for the Big Island Spring Arts Festival, a mammoth celebration of the unique arts and crafts of the Hawaiian people.
